Strictly stars Ben Cohen and fiancée, Kristina Rihanoff, have put their £1.75 million home on the market, according to reports.

It comes after the couple, who share daughter, Melina, eight, had to leave a court room sobbing earlier this month as it was revealed they are in so much debt their relationship is hanging by a thread.

After their financial woes were laid bare, with Ben admitting he "fight[s] everyday not to lose everything.. to lose my cars and my house and my relationship" - after Kristina was caught driving without insurance - it appears they've decided to sell up.

The five-bedroom home in Sywell, Northamptonshire, was bought in 2016 and was put up for sale on Thursday. The couple, who met on Strictly in 2013, were still living in the property a few weeks ago.

Sitting on a plot of 1.73acres of land, the palatial pad has been put up for sale on RightMove for £1,750,000, reports the Mail. It is described as a 'superb family home offering spacious and versatile living accommodation' kitted out with an 'impressive kitchen breakfast/family living area'.

Pictures online show off the lavish home, which boasts a state of the art kitchen complete with granite worktops, recessed lighting and a large central island unit, as well as an integrated wine fridge, wine racks and breakfast bar area. There is also a huge outside space in which a number of cars can be parked.

Rugby World Cup winner Ben appeared alongside Kristina in court earlier this month after she was caught driving her £30,000 Audi Q3 without insurance. During a hearing at Northampton Crown Court Mr Cohen, 45, said he had ignored a text message from his insurance company.

Kristina, who appeared under the name Kristina Pchenitchnykh, was caught driving her 72-plate Audi, in Horsemarket, Northampton, on April 4.

The Russian dancer was slapped with six points on her licence but faced a ban for totting up 12 penalty points. Earlier this month she went to court to appeal the conviction for driving without insurance with Ben appearing as her witness.

Ben and Kristina fell for each other after they were partnered up on the 11th series of Strictly in 2013 - with Ben going on to leave his wife Abbie Bray for the Russian.

The court heard they Ben and Kristina set up several businesses, including a Yoga studio, which had suffered as a result of Covid. Admitting the sad state of affairs for the couple, Ben told the court "I get up every day and I fight not to lose everything to lose my cars and my house and my relationship. I'm so overdrawn."

The Mirror has contacted reps for Ben and Kristina for comment on this story.
