Love Island star Molly Smith has praised a £16 perfume she swears "smells expensive." The product has also proven hugely popular online since launching in early September.
The celeb has been wearing the fragrance 'Far Away Shine', the new viral sensation by The perfumier behind the new perfume, , also created YSL’s Black Opium, so it’s no surprise the scent has become a fan favourite.
Molly recently shared the scent with her 640k followers on TikTok, quickly going viral with more than 403k views and 8,535 likes. Many fans were shocked that the luxury scent is from a high street brand.

Molly was floored by the smell, exclaiming that it "smells expensive", and is a "bargain." She tested the viral scent on her boyfriend , who believed the scent was worth £120, only to be surprised to learn that the perfume is in fact £16 from AVON.
With base notes of luminous golden musk, and middle notes of exotic Ispahan roses, the scent is a perfect autumn fragrance. The everyday scent is a new addition to the Far Away collection, newly transformed into stackable and recyclable bottles.
The perfume has an impressing 4.7 star rating online, with many praising the scent in rave reviews. Among them, one shopper said: "Sunshine in a bottle. I very enjoy using this perfume. It’s has a nice warm fruity note but it is also great and fresh to use during the summer month, I enjoy the musky undertones and sweetness (which is just about right).
"I love the floral heart note of rose. It’s a great mood booster when not feeling so great. I also really like that the scent stuck on my clothes for the day."
A second wrote: "Long Lasting Summer Scent. This is a really pleasant perfume, which would be a pretty safe bet to buy for either yourself or for someone else as a gift. Don't be fooled by the initial sweet blast! It settles into something deeper, reminiscent of summer evenings, and lasts for hours."
A third shopper added: "New favourite perfume! This perfume is perfect for summer into autumn! It reminds me of YSL Black Opium and Georgia Armani Si both elegant and makes for a good transition into autumn months! I will definitely repurchase!"
However, some people were not quite so impressed, with one shopper writing: "A big no. I was excited to try it. I didn’t like it at all. It’s a very dated sent. For me it smells like typical Avon from 20 years ago. Used it three times and I can’t anymore. It doesn’t last so in this case I was actually happy about it."
If you prefer a different scent, Boots currently has on sale for £54.40, down from £68, while The Fragrance Shop has Yves Saint Laurent Libre for £58. LookFantastic also has for £64.80, down from £108.
