Emmerdale's Aaron Dingle star Danny Miller shared an 'exciting announcement' away from the popular ITV soap over the weekend.

The actor, 33, who has played Aaron since 2008, revealed last year that he was releasing a new children's book for Christmas, Jim The Dog and Santa Claus, with Nige Clucas. It will be a hero dog series taking inspiration from Lassie following the success of Danny's Albert's Bookshelf enterprise, which features audiobooks of his son Albert's favourite books read by his dad, and was launched in 2023.

Taking to Instagram over the weekend, Danny revealed an update amid his exciting side project away from Emmerdale. He joyfully announced that entrepreneur Ryan T Williams would be joining his venture with radio star Nigel Clucas. Posting a picture of himself alongside Ryan and Nigel, Danny penned: "EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT."

He added: "Myself and @nigewingmanclucas are delighted to welcome @ryantwilliamsofficial to the Alberts Bookshelf team as he takes up a directors role with in the company.

"We have been wanting to make the appointment for a while as we searched for the right person. Never did I think we’d manage to add someone with Ryan’s knowledge, experience and passion.

"It became very obvious, very quickly during our meeting that everything we are aiming to do with @alberts_bookshelf - in education for children and putting more books to the eyes and ears of all ages - was something that was shared with Ryan and our vision is now clear going forward of what we want to achieve.

Danny's 708K followers were quick to respond to the exciting announcement, as one person said: "Congratulations to you all."
