As one of the expert relationship coaches on Celebs Go Dating, Anna Williamson always looks flawless on-screen. The 43-year-old says she’s regularly asked how she ‘keeps her skin looking so good’ - and now has shared the products behind her youthful complexion.

The presenter has revealed to The Mirror the contents of her beauty kit, including the hydrating skincare heroes and on-the-go beauty must-haves that keep her looking and feeling great between filming and the school run.

Anna describes her skin as ‘quite dry’, so much of her skincare routine is dedicated to rehydrating her thirsty complexion. “I’m all about hydration,” she said. “People are very sweet and often ask how I keep my skin looking so good. I'm 43 and I think good genes play a part in it, but I'm so fastidious in making sure I look after my skin and making sure as much moisture as possible goes back into it.”

The mum-of-two tells us she has a number of trusted brands, including the likes of And Begin , Murad , Trinny London and Tatcha , regularly reaching for these premium, but high performing skincare superiors. One of her favourites is Tatcha’s Rice Wash , a cleanser which which offers gentle exfoliation, following up with The Essence, which works to soften and plump skin.

She said: “I love Tatcha’s Rice Wash . You put it on your hand and it foams up. Tatcha always feels like a really pure brand to me. The Essence is lovely, too.”

While retinoids are all the rage at the moment, Anna doesn’t like to use it on her skin daily, but does occasionally enjoy Murad’s Retinal Resculpt Overnight Treatment - particularly after busy filming periods. Recommended as a "midlife must-have" by India Knight from the Sunday Times Style, a 30ml tube will set you back £105 . It’s said to visibly lift the neck and jowl sagging in two weeks, while smoothing wrinkles and reducing crepey skin.

The formula has racked up a 4.8 star rating from shoppers, with one saying it’s ‘the best product ever’. They added: “Have been using Murad for years but they have outdone themselves this time!”

Another said: “I am pleased and impressed with the results of Resculpt Overnight. It doesn’t irritate my dry skin but still firms and tightens. I’ve now ordered the moisturizer as well.” Though if you aren’t a fan of fragrance, it may not be for you, with one user leaving a three-star rating which said: “I don’t know whether this is working or not; I’ve only been using it for a few days. It does have an overwhelming fragrance, which is disappointing.”

Long hours filming under hot lights can wreak havoc on anyone’s skin, and Anna admits hers has ‘taken a battering’ recently. To combat dryness, she relies on Beauty Pie’s Miracle Overnight Face Oil, which she credits with keeping her skin nourished. “I like a product that sinks into the skin rather than sitting on top of it leaving you with an oil slick,” she said. “My skin has taken a bit of a battering recently filming for Celebs Go Dating, which is why I love the oil so much. It’s the best and it really does work.”

For those who haven’t heard of Beauty Pie , it’s a subscription service that offers major discounts on their products for members. People can pay £10 per month, which gives them access to heavily discounted cosmetics and skincare items. For example, the Miracle Overnight Face Oil is usually £40 , but anyone with a subscription can get it for £17.50.

She’s also been enjoying Trinny’s The Elevator Neck Cream , describing it as “worth the hype”, adding: “It’s brilliant. I don't even like talking about it in case it sells out.” And when it comes to beauty products, Trinny comes out on top again, with the relationship coach praising the brand’s stackable pots for their on-the-go ease and versatility.

"I love their Lip to Cheek pots for a quick bit of blush and lips. They’re fun, simple to use, and great for touch-ups when you’re out and about. I feel quite young and playful when I use them. They’re great for your handbag and generally just really beautiful products.”

But for something that gives a little more radiance, Anna swears by Iconic London, commenting: “I’m a big fan of Iconic makeup. Their USP is glow, and I love that because it really does feel special and gives me a spring in my step.”

Though sometimes, you just can’t beat a simple yet effective product, and much like YouTuber Louise Pentland, Anna swears by a classic beauty staple that many of us already know and love: Carmex lip balm. “It’s basic but brilliant,” she says. "I have about three on the go at any one time, one in my handbag, one on my bedside table, and one in the car."

Whether she’s on the set of Celebs Go Dating or running errands, these products keep Anna feeling and looking her best, ready to tackle whatever the day has to offer. From something as simple and affordable as a good lip balm, to a luxurious skincare treatment, Anna’s top picks are sure to inspire a beauty bag refresh. Meanwhile, you can catch Celebs Go Dating, Monday to Thursday each week at 9pm on E4.
