Liverpool looks set to get a new video analyst after .

Van der Ham made no mention of Liverpool in his farewell post to the Dutch club on social media but it has been reported in the Netherlands in recent weeks that he will link up with former Feyenoord boss Arne Slot at Anfield.

“Last week, my time at Feyenoord officially came to an end," Van der Ham said. "A huge thank you to all my colleagues and players for the memories we made together at this fantastic club! With hopes of creating even more unforgettable memories, it’s time to move on!”

has already brought a number of staff members with him from his old club, with and both making the move to Anfield in the summer.

Van der Ham joined Feyenoord in the summer of 2022, a year after Slot's appointment as manager, and was on the Liverpool head coach's staff for Feyenoord's 2022-23 Eredvisie win as well as the club's 2023-24 Dutch Cup win.

Van der Ham previously worked as a video analyst for RKC Waalwijk, Heracles Almelo and the Netherlands' Under-19 team. He also previously held a role as a fitness coach with NAC Breda.

Liverpool's fans will hope Van der Ham can supplement the good work that has clearly already done by his former Feyenoord colleagues, with the Reds having won 15 of their opening 17 matches in all competitions.

Van der Ham looks set to join Liverpool in the coming days ahead of the Reds' Premier League trip to Southampton on Sunday, November 24.

Liverpool could welcome goalkeeper Alisson Becker back into the side for that match, while Federico Chiesa, Harvey Elliott and Diogo Jota are also closing in on returns to the squad.

Trent Alexander-Arnold is the only other injury concern at this moment in time after coming off with a hamstring injury against Aston Villa at the weekend. The right-back has pulled out of the England squad for the games against Greece and Ireland but the problem is not believed to be serious, and he could well be fit in time for the trip to Southampton.
